At For The Trail, we aim to ask less of the planet. Because our products are designed for food contact and performance fueling, we have a strict policy regarding physical returns to prevent hygiene risks and unnecessary shipping emissions.
The "No-Return" Rule

Hygiene First: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of DirtBags once they have been delivered and unsealed.

Sustainability: Shipping a used or unsealed food-contact packet back to us creates a carbon footprint for a product that we cannot legally resell and would ultimately have to dispose of.
Refunds & Issues

Faulty or Damaged Items: If your DirtBags arrives with a manufacturing defect or is damaged in transit, please email us using our contact form with a photo of the issue within 14 days of receipt.

No-Return Refunds: If your claim is approved for a fault, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method immediately. You do not need to ship the item back to us, we ask that you instead dispose of it responsibly in your home compost or food waste bin.

Change of Mind: Because DirtBags are hygiene-sensitive food-contact items, we cannot offer refunds for "change of mind" once the package has been opened.
